Posada time

It 's that time of year again and the Posada box arrived at our home yesterday. The figures of Mary and Joseph are passed around the village and this activity represents the journey to Bethlehem. A comments book records the thoughts and feelings, perhaps quotes that the host family want to add. We had a visitor in the evening who had been very invloved with asylum seekers and told us of the horrific journeys that many make in order to reach safety. It makes the problems of travelling in high wind conditions seem rather tame I must say!
