My Commute

I am pleased to say I am alive and after my journey home that's a miracle.

Moments after I took this photo I dialled 999 to report the situation and ask the Police to shut the road because of the high winds.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm fine. Unfortunately I wasn't sure about the status of the drivers. I could not get out of my car to check because of the wind, hence my 999 call. They had in fact already been removed by the emergency services but it was too dangerous outside to check. My car was lifting and I thought I was heading into Loch Restil.

When I got to Cairndow the Police thankfully had the road cordoned off but as you see people were still trying to cross.

A very frightening experience.
