I would like to thank everyone for their numerous comments and kind messages on yesterday's dramatic blip from the A83 at Loch Restil near The Rest & Be Thankful. I did think at the time that I was in very serious trouble.

Unfortunately I could not respond to any of the comments last night due to power cuts here in Argyll lasting almost 24 hours.

Thank you to the guys at Blipfoto for passing on my image to the BBC too.

I would like to dedicate today's blip to a Police officer who was injured by flying debris from one of the overturned vehicles at the top of The Rest. I understand he is in hospital in a serious but not life-threatening condition. I wish him a speedy recovery.
