Why did I come in here?

By Bootneck

Just one more heave and it'll come off........

This morning the aged Grandparent went to Cornwall Farmers and finished off the Christmas shopping; if you have a youth of about 3-9 buy Bruder toys, they are the modern version of Tonka, built to last and the detail is fantastic; how she got me out of there is a wonder. En-route back to the bunker I asked the chauffeusse if it would be conceivable to take the eldest grand child for a wander. Mrs Booty, "isnaeweel", but she dropped us off at one end of the woods, went off for a well earned coffee with our brat and returned when summoned to collect the weary aged person and the exuberant grand child. We discovered a new friend called Barbara, met old friends and found a golf ball. There were lectures given on Fungi, trees, puddles and "Chap" stuff. Luckily nothing too deep and meaningful, nothing about tongues and chewing gum.

Attempts were made to straighten this tree, to no avail, but we live in hope. I think it's a Beech, but remain open minded.

My Blip business cards arrived this morning. May I recommend them to the maddened and present challenged hordes. They are ideal for handing out to new lady friends and also for reminding oneself what one's name is and where to go home.
