Stumpy......

Apologies for lack of clarity but I have cropped this quite heavily.
This is my little mate Stumpy. His toes were either destroyed during last years cold weather or have not developed at all. He must be at least 6 months old, is managing very well beneath the feeders, eating Nyger seed and Robin bits and pieces. He is very brave, allowing me to get quite close before flying off, so I'll be following his progress and making sure he is well tended to this winter. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the other stronger birds which is fortunate.
