Liverpool War Memorial

This photo, taken on my iPad, is of the war memorial in Liverpool. It is a simple but elegant structure, right in the heart of the city. I am always surprised that I never see anyone in the vicinity, or anyone stopping to read the engravings. Because of this, I think of it as 'my' peaceful corner. If I have had a busy clinic with lots of sick patients, like today, I find a quiet 5 minutes at the memorial very calming. It is cold and damp for this time of the year, but with the extreme glare that is present today I don't know how the photo will turn out. Happy Thursday to all out there.
