More Than Words

Tuesday the 29/11 and 3 hours to myself. Anyone with an autistic child knows this is the equivalent of a week off. What I enjoy about blipfoto if that it makes you look more closely at the world around you to find an interesting photo, even if your surroundings are not somewhere picturesque, such as the blue mountains or Sydney harbour. The photo today is of a catholic church in Liverpool which is an interesting building. Someone with a good eye and camera (I have neither) could take some beautiful photos. It is not to everyone's taste but I think it makes a statement and has some strong architectural features. I have not been inside but I expect it is a quiet haven far removed from the hustle and bustle of westfields which is situated across the road. Despite my atheistic beliefs I think churches are wonderful spaces which provide refuge from the materialistic world that lies beyond them. On the subject of materialism I must make my way to the shops to buy my 10 year old a birthday present.......
