Proper Festive

Fetched the tree today, so I thought I'd try something of a counterpoint to yesterday's slightly more ironic (read 'grumpy old man') version of Christmas decoration. Plus, I forgot to take the camera out to capture a shot of Mr. Thompson the Grocer leaping precariously round on the huge pile of trees that annually fill his (and his brother's - twins, no less!) back yard. Here's the tree, then, at a point somewhere between that where we were swearing and shaving increasingly large bits off the bottom in order to try and fit it in the stand - and then hoovering up all the mess - and it's finished weighty coating of trinkets old and new - just the greenery and a few pretty lights...
