Santa and his reindeer!

What a day! Such a busy, hectic day today. It's nice to be super busy at work for a change, I miss being busy and under pressure (never thought I would miss anything about my property management days!).

That wind is pretty icy out there tonight, it's nice to be chilling out in front of the fire. It's even greater to be chilling out knowing that I don't have to get up and make dinner! We are ordering in our curry tonight - a rare treat! I am going to savour this! I'm looking forward to catching up on Monday night's Young Apprentice, too.. it's getting down to the pointy end now!

A bit of a random picture tonight - I was walking down Princes Street (after taking a blip I was happy with) to go to Accessorize to buy myself an early Christmas present for no other reason than to take a stroll, and the Santa train thing drove past me. I was lucky I sort of had semi-appropriate settings on my camera - I just turned on and snapped, it was almost past me when I realised (I was facing the other way)! I just thought I would practice panning and didn't plan on sharing this shot. I had others that I was going to choose between; however, upon looking through the pictures, I couldn't not pick this one! All the others seemed boring and less fun by comparison!

I was pretty chuffed with the views and comments on yesterday's blip. Wow! Upon reflection, I am thinking that I didn't give the picture enough credit. Thanks to everyone who made me realise that! I really can't stress enough how great it is to be using my camera everyday. My self-confidence is already being slowly restored. What a wonderful community :)
