Christmas Lights

This blip is for our 'like-a-brother" best friend Rod. For some reason he's in love with the movie, "The Christmas Story." The other day we were sitting on the floor in front of our fireplace, and he shared with us his great "Christmas find. A replica of the leg lamp used in the movie.
"Won't Rosie be surprised when she pulls into the driveway and sees that fish-netted leg lighting up the front window."
I laughed, "You betcha." She loves the flick even more than Rod. She keeps the 24 hour marathon running on the TV all Christmas Day.
"It gets better."
"Really?"
"Bobble heads, two of 'em. Plus ornaments and dessert dishes."
"Oooh, laaah, laaah." I said. This enthusiasm and joy for the holidays and life in general is why we love Rod so much.

Today, as I cruised through Walgreens, I saw the light, so to speak. Oh, that skirted-shade and shapely leg, that stiletto black pump. All on its own complete end aisle place of honor. So Rodney, this one's for you.
