Resilient

He is resilient, faithfully going from one place to the next, caring for others, for his mom, for the Cottage, then taking me out to an early birthday dinner.

Mother Comfort is beginning to realize she can't wait until she returns home to regain her strength. The reality that she will have to try another rehab facility is setting in and, although discouraged, she's resilient too and tries to be brave.

On the upside, we spoke with the medical director of the facility in this disastrous story, and he continues to live up to the wonderful reputation he has. He was gracious, not patronizing, respectful and apologetic. He assured us that the facility is concerned about the problems that occurred and that he will contact us with an update on the changes that are being made. He requests more information about our experience and is as grieved to hear our story as all of you. I do expect them to bring improvements to the facility. I am encouraged.
