The Flip Side of Surreal

Yesterday morning, just past midnight, this scene looked like this from behind that glass in the emergency waiting room. Today, sun shining, Mother Comfort smiling and planning to keep driving everyone to get her home, the fountain looks like this. This is one time, I really wish that I had great equipment, great light or something, because this little hide away is an absolute haven for those who need a quiet place to get themselves together amidst life's most challenging moments.

As we proceed, one foot in front of the other, to clean her house and see if she is able to get herself home, we work together, giving each other pep talks, prayers and words of encouragement. We laugh, try to make an adventure out of everything, and call the day over when it feels like it's dragging us down, before it really does.

I'm in that wind down place right now when I finish my day and get organized for the next and prepare for a productive day tomorrow. I'm hoping to slip some comments in while I work in the kitchen preparing food for the week. Looking forward to seeing what my blip friends have been up to! Blessings for a new week of adventures!!!
