The white stuff

Woke up this morning to find more snow had fallen overnight. Looks much more like proper snow lying in the street, rather than the icing sugar effect we had yesterday.

I didn't think Ethan would remember snow from last winter but as soon as we went outside he exclaimed excitedly "ooooh snow" then took a few steps in it "oooh more snow"!

Got to work in Edinburgh to find hardly any snow at all - I'm sure my colleagues who live in the city always think I make it up when I tell them we really do have loads in Livingston.

Hubbie was working overtime this evening so I picked Ethan up from nursery then went to Sainsbury's. And who should we bump into there but Mrs42 and Miss42! Great to see them, albeit briefly, as it has been far too long.

It's now 8.30pm and the snow has started up again - it's looking very pretty but if it carries on, I'm not looking forward to the drive into work tomorrow.

Edited at 10.30pm - Sorry for changing image to late but just checked up on Ethan and found he has wriggled out of his sleeping bag but still sound asleep! Much cuter image than my previous snowy fence one.
