A smattering of snow

We woke up to snow today! Ok so it was more like a dusting of icing sugar on the streets and by the time I got my camera out in the afternoon, it had nearly all melted. But hey, it's the first snow of the winter! Not quite as much as this time last year though!

I had a very productive day. Hubbie spent most of the day looking after Ethan so I could get on with housework. I have a friend coming up to stay with her daughter on Thursday and as my friend is allergic to cats, I thought I'd better gut the bedroom she will be sleeping in. I'll have to try to keep the cats out of it now though.

Ethan seemed to be constantly hungry today - a big change from yesterday. As well as demolishing his breakfast and lunch, he also ate a whole punnet of strawberries, half a banana, some grapes and lots of dried pasta which we'd given him to play with *yuk)! When I was making macaroni cheese for dinner, he kept coming up to me and asking for "more cheese please" so ate tons of that too. Funnily enough, he then didn't finish his macaroni but he must have been completely stuffed by that point!

Back to work tomorrow after our weeks holiday (((sigh))).
