Stopping by woods on a snowy lunchtime*

Blizzardy snow this morning, followed by sunshine. Went for a yomp round the woods to see the remaining snow. Felt like a Charlotte Bronte heroine, lifting my long wool skirt and coat up to stop them dragging in the mud and snow. Boots with ice studs on them completed the hobnail shoe effect. Could easily have stayed longer but although....
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Well, I have to get back to work, which is a kind of promise I guess..
