Newly strung and waiting to be played

14 new strings, tuned to perfection await a session or two later this afternoon. Dougal might not be appreciative of their strident sounds on his sensitive ears, and may hide away, paws over lugs. Perhaps the strings and their respective instruments might move location and encourage the playing hands to find a more sound-proofed room!

Snow covers the not so distant hills. The temperatures are much lower than of late, so perhaps the extreme conditions forecast to be with us in October will now make an appearance. The sight of snow on the hills encourages thoughts of a white Christmas and a measure of spirit to warm up the cockles!
