Kitchen - after

Slept well. Spent the day cleaning, getting the flat back to 'normal' and taking the rubbish out. Didn't do as much as I'd planned as I kept sidetracking myself but I made quite a lot of progress, which is good. Table lamps are unpacked and lit, carpet is vacuumed, blips are taken.

I made two families happy by giving away the left over vinyl on Gumtree - saved me carrying it down 3 flights of stair s, and at least someone 'got the good of it'/

The kitchen isn't quite finished. This is before. The woodwork still has to be done, light fittings have to be retrieved from Glasgow, a socket over the breakfast bar, I have to make the new blind etc etc, but nearly there.

The wardrobe is reorganised, thank goodness for IKEA and Pax, but tomorrow I have to get the back bedroom sorted.

There are still a lot of boxes and I still have to find things, including the advent candle, I put it somewhere safe!

Still no food in the house, so a Chinese take out tonight, and Shiraz-Petite Sirah tonight. Pretty good.
