Soothing darkness

Today was a good day. I didn't feel under pressure to get anything done or to be anywhere. I decided it would be a good time to put the decorations up so I made a start on that.

I've put the tree up in the hall and one in the living room but haven't decorated them yet. I got stuff out from under the stairs and then found what went with which tree.

I did most work on my own room I think, putting up lights and making it look more Christmassy. I've just remembered a few things I'd forgotten to put up. They are just large-ish musical snow globes. Might blip them tomorrow but I'm going out so may save those for another day.

I ordered the very last of my presents online. It was a good feeling.

Just need to wait a bit and then see about filling the freezers with food.
I virtually hibernate over the winter especially if the weather gets icy or snows as I can't walk on it to save my life.

After last year I bought who knows how many pairs of boots trying to find some that would be safe on ice. Naturally once I had got them we had no more bad weather so if they don't work it's too late to return them now. :)
