Christmas lights

This was part of some decorations that arrived yesterday which I put up today. I still need to do some work to them as I think they need a touch more red, they aren't interesting enough when the lights aren't on.

Today I went to the dentist and now everything is sorted and I don't have to go back for six whole months.

I wasn't expecting everything to be dealt with today and I am so happy and relieved. Then on my way home I called in at the care home to drop off some more information about mum and found her singing away in one of the lounges.

The lights were dimmed and with the Christmas lighting and the telly that was playing a part in the singing game it looked really cosy.

So I didn't go in and disturb her, I just dropped my notes off and quietly left.

I felt so much better and when I got in I fell asleep on my bed for hours and hours. Might as well as I can't eat anything much for 12 hours. :)
