Christmas Market

I like the month of December in Alsace; had almost forgotten what it was like as it's been several years since we've been back at that time of the year (am not a big fan of cold weather, though I grew up there).

One the most fun things to do is the many different Christmas markets ('marches de Noel') which sell wonderful crafts, foods and, of course, vin chaud (spiced hot wine). This is a quick shot of the market of Mulhouse, with its decorated townhall in the back.

Saturday, I'll take the time to walk about my mom's market, in Riedisheim (yes, in spite of the name, this is actually in France!) :)

ps: am really missing my camera now; my bb is wholly inadequate for capturing these scenes!
