Snow Horses

A wise man (who wasn't a phot0grapher) once told me..."Always get something red in the picture." How about those horsie blankets?

The horses look almost regal in those coats. How come the outerwear is so different from other animals? Kitty cats look ignorant in coats, and don't even get me started with clothed dogs. My chihauhau wears a sweater that says Daddy's little princess. Where was I when somebody picked that out? She also wears a sweater with moose on it. What does a 5 pound chihauhau have to do with the majestic moose? Even worse than my little Niya is when a big big dog has a sweater on. Enough already.

But...the horses look handsome. I was going to stay with regal until I saw 2 out of the 3 horses wallowing in the snow like pigs in mud. They looked like they were having fun...but...who knew? I thought only humans liked to play in the snow. The black and white horses did the wallowing. Their snow angels were atrocious. The brown one on top refused to join in any horsie games. I named him/her Rudolph or Rudolphina.

On the other side of the black fence was another horse in a green coat. If I could have got him in the picture with the redcoats...it might have been my first CHRISTmas picture. Merry December 1st.
