The Calm After The Storm

Well, listening to the weather forecast yesterday and the amber warnings issued for parts of Scotland, I was expecting the river to overflow again last night.

Guess what? It didn't.

I took my daughter to dancing last night and the rain wasn't nearly as bad as the weather forecasters had predicted, well in these parts anyway. By bedtime it was much heavier but no sign of the river bursting it's banks.

Today you would be hard pushed to know the disruption it had caused earlier in the week.
