Ain't I Cute

Well the rain must have stopped during the night. The road and pavement are visible again and everything appears to be back to normal. There is however, a noticeable lack of people about. I think it is probably a combination of poor weather and industrial action keeping people at home.

As my daughter is not at school again today she had a very lazy morning so while she was still in bed I took myself outside to watch the birds. I was sitting on the window ledge, about two metres from the feeder. After a while they seemed to be quite happy with me being there as long as I didn't move too quickly. Could watch them for hours.

More heavy rain forecast for tonight. Fingers crossed the flood doesn't return.
