On the third day of Christmas........

Of course today is the last day of the Movember season, where men grow a moustache for a month to raise funds for prostrate cancer and other cancers which affect us men. There were some corkers in the office; we had the Dick Dastardly, the biker from the Village People and the mutton chops one as well. Worryingly some peoples efforts made them look like Hitler, although I'm sure this was unintentional and more to do with poor growth. I didn't partake mainly because it would take me till next November to grow a proper moustache, but I did sponsor a few people because it is a very worthy cause.

My lunchtime walk today included a detour into St. John the Baptist Church, Chipping Sodbury where they had a Crib Festival. It was a fantastic festival and there were over 100 cribs, varying in size from miniature to quite large displays. A number of the local schools had made their own cribs and it was great to see children being so creative with their displays. It was very busy this lunchtime with a number of people visiting the festival the same time as me. Friday should be good when there will be a real life nativity taking place, with a proper camel as well.
