Film review!

I managed to see 'The Help', the current film showing at our local cinema. It isn't the most sophisticated set up but run by volunteers it is a great asset to our small town.
I thought the film was very good and true to the book. The problem was that the dialogue was difficult to understand a lot of the time. There are a couple of possible reasons for this. One, the accent was a pronounced Southern States and therefore words sounded unfamiliar. The other reason is, I suspect the cinematic equipment was not up to relaying the sound efficently. As I had read the book I found it much easier to follow than perhaps those who hadn't. All that said it is a wonderful film telling an important story. If anyone hasn't read the book, believe me, it's a must!
