Last night a very old building burnt down. It was the Co-operative building on Morrison Steet where my grandfather - William Hollywood Salmon worked as an commercial artist many many years ago....

Thats one of the very few things I know about him and I have a horrible sad feeling today that something historical with a connection tohim has gone forever. That there might have been old papers, or photos that mention him and what he did that I'll never know about.
