Reflection

Day Three.

After a really great night's camp at a date plantation in Lima (with proper toilets and a small fresh water pool to wash chill out in) we walked back down to the harbour to launch the kayaks. We saw a couple of young turtles that came over to check out our presence and apparently tuna were jumping out the water just as we cleared the entrance to the harbour (I missed them!). Ospreys nest along the coastline high up on the rocks, and we saw quite a few en-route. We had plenty time to snorkel and check out the natural caves carved from the rocks, as the speed boat was going to pick us up on the water wherever they found us. Back to Dubai for a shower (heaven to smell nice again) and head out for a meal with the kayak team to round the trip off nicely! Happy days.
