Marcus the Goat.

Yesterday after the bus ride through the centre of town, I went with a friend to Akaroa on Banks Peninsula to stay the night.
Today we have been to Little Akaloa, and to Fisherman's Bay.
What a glorious day, very hot, and we walked down to the bay which is steep all the way down. We saw seals basking on the rocks and swimming in the sea.
Then it was the steep climb back up to the top. I am still recovering!!
At the top there is a wonderful garden to tour around, and this is one of the sculptures in the garden - called Marcus the Goat - the last of the wild goats.
