El Ateneo

Oh dear..I decided to test the shopping scene in BA on one of the best known shopping streets, Santa Fe. I got slightly carried away. Beginning in Levis was never a good idea! What makes it even worse is that this street is much closer to the apartment I'm going to move in to in a few weeks time.
As we were searching for Zara we ran into 'El Ateneo', the bookstore which is in an old theatre and has a cafe on the stage. It's the biggest bookstore I've ever scene and it was so pretty!
We shopped for 5 hours before returning home which I think was pretty good going considering how much pain we were in from the exercise class. We must have looked a sight hobbling up and down the stairs that crossed our path lol.
There was just enough time for a nap before heading to the VG house for a meal prepared by some of the others. The best part was the sangria which went down a little too easily!
