OK, I did promise not to mention Xmas or birthdays too much, but it is Emma's Christmas Bazaar at her school later this evening.

So, we've been turning out games, jigsaws, toys, books which are still in good condition but are slightly less loved than they were. At least they were until they are about to leave the house in a black sack! Children usually develop a sudden longing for the toy about to disappear from their lives. Emma though has been fab and has helped disorganise things for us.

She is excited about meeting Santa tonight and has made a present for her to give to him! All this has absolutely nothing to do with the forest path scene above:)
