I spent another morning with my Dad, trying to sort through my late Uncle's things. It's a mammoth ... and heart rending task!

Each time we go, my Dad tries to persuade me to take something with me. Today it was this camera. I don't know if it still works, but I imagine not, if the lack of photos in the house is anything to go by.

My 18 year old nephew has been given my uncle's very old, H reg Fiat Panda - and he's over the moon with it! I think it's only done around 20,000 miles. My niece is still getting her home together and has taken a few things, but there's still loads of stuff to clear.

We came across a brand new (old) handbag that had belonged to my Gran who died 30 years ago. It was about a foot wide with a huge snap clasp on the top - a real nanna handbag!

'Have it!', my Dad said. 'No thanks', said I. He thought it would do for one of my younger brother's daughters (ages 25 and 19). I tried to put him off, as no way would they want it.

Undeterred, he offered it to the 25 year old, who was delighted with it!!!!
