An "average" day

Last week at work was a week full of highlights and shadows, mostly clipped.

Today was ....well unremarkable, full of muddy middling tones, not much colour, light or dark shades - just what the doctor ordered. There was a pleasant calmness and slow contentedness about the place, "mellow fruitfulness?"

A quick 10mins out at lunch time, it was grey, there were no highlights or shaddows or much colour to be had where I parked up for my blip.

Photoshopped(well lightroomed but I don't think that's a verb) this to death - now all clipped highlights and shadows.

I wonder with all the ups and downs of life how much of it is just our perception or our later reworking?
