It's Raining; It's Pouring!

This day began with beautiful big pink clouds surrounding the outer edges of our view; by mid-day those clouds had closed in and were planning to drench us, and they did.

We ate lunch at church because everyone gathered together to "shower" one older lady with gifts -- several weeks ago her home was destroyed in a fire. So a lunch was planned and everyone brought gifts to help her re-establish a new home. It was a pretty special moment, and a delicious lunch.

Once home, we spent the afternoon enjoying our fireplace and the warmth within this home. We laid-low, wore comfy clothes, and had an afternoon of leisure. We had anticipated more birthday celebrating today and here in southern California rain is always a celebration.

So that's our Sunday story! And now it is Thanksgiving week. Woohoo!
