The Union Theatre

I had a wonderful afternoon today. I spent it with my friends Lucy and Susan (aka Susieblue on blip - don't know how to do one of those linky things) at The Union Theatre in Southwark.

We went to see a play called Stepping Out which we all loved. It was funny, sweet, moving and even had fabulous tap dancing.

The theatre is tiny, quirky, off-beat and clearly someone's labour of love. It was serendipitous for me to go there at this particular time in my life, as I have been thinking a lot recently about following your instincts, your dreams, taking risks, and doing what you love, and so I found it very inspiring.

And if you have great friends with you on the journey, even better.
