Mere in the mist

I do like Autumn. The Autumnal fog which dulled the day was a Godsend for photos. I love the subtlety of the light and colours and shape which the mist brings. I was a little disappointed when the Sun began to burn through the mist, but the hazy light just made some views even better.
A walk around Scarborough Mere was a delight, refreshing and inspiring, with a photo appearing at every turn.
It was hard to choose a blip from the many I shot, but I like this one for it's classical proportions, and restful feel. I used a very subtle colour setting on the camera to reflect the 'feel' of the scene.
