Light trails
To lose one's way... to leave the road one is travelling on and not be able to find it ...at least for a while.
This might happen when coming upon a sudden dip in the road on the hills... as one does. That was the highlight of the day ...being airborne for - what seemed like - an eternity :)
Other contenders for today's blip were:
If you want to see the countryside properly, see this I have not used a filter on it.
For a more balanced filtering, see this. The filter covers only the sky.
Today's entry was chosen for its dramatic effect but is not the best picture. The filter covers the entire frame. Larger is definitely better.
In all these cases, there is no post processing. The shots are straight off the camera.
The making of the blip looked something like this We had neutral density filters, the camera didn't blink for over 2 minutes (applause), but the view point wasn't the best. The light does fade quickly and I had to find a combination of parking and view point to shoot. I would have preferred a bird's eye view. This is the closest Google street view I could find.
I'll keep looking...
PS. I did try location tagging while tweeting from today's blip spot. KirstieG tells me that it almost works... Thanks KG :)
