Smoking Chimney

I set about trying to capture star trails in the night sky. That attempt produced nowhere near blippable results.

And while I had one or two more visually pleasing architectural images, I chose this one because of its obscurity. It is more an exercise in croppage (pardon the term coinage) to get a balanced image rather than actual content. I guess my journal is a fair place to practice this. And I don't actually know anything about the chimney.

It was a fine day, several hours out of which I slept off some accumulated fatigue. It is not all gone yet. That might be impacting my creative writing ability. Anyway I enjoyed the wander in the evening.

And the best part is that there is another day left of this weekend. Do try to make the most of it. Yes I will come around to yours soon :)
