Hands Up

We had an early start for a Sunday. Well, actually not that early as Ethan slept till 7.20am which is fab, but we had to be ready to leave the house just after 9am as we were going in to Edinburgh to preview and choose the photos taken of us at Venture a few weeks ago.

I did feel sorry for the woman with the task of showing us the photos as with Granny & Grandpa, Foreveryoung & Mr Foreveryoung and Hubbie and I all trying to choose individually from the wonderful photos and then select frames, photo packages etc, we were there nearly 2 hours. Still, they did make a fortune out of us! Ethan & Eden were remarkably well behaved considering how long we were there.

We then all went to the Toby Carvery at Corstorphine for lunch before coming back to my house to chill out. Eden has started putting one or both hands up in the air - I'm not entirely sure why she does it but it's clearly some sort of game. She loves it when we join in and Ethan thought it very funny to give it a go too!

By 3.30pm though Ethan hadn't had a nap, even when I'd tried to put him down in the cot. So as hubbie had to deliver some tyres he'd sold on Ebay, he took Ethan with him a we knew he'd sleep in the car. Mr Foreveryoung went along for the ride so I'm sure they had lots of "man talk" whilst Foreveryoung, Eden & I tried to decide which activities to book for our forthcoming holiday to Centre Parcs. So far, we've booked a spa evening for Foreveryoung & I .... well that's the most important bit isn't it!
