Peaceful evening

I realise that most of my blips for this first week have been of landmarks. Here's another one, of the Peace Statue on Brighton seafront. We took our neighbour's son out for a walk and an ice cream this afternoon. The sun was setting but it was quite cloudy so we didn't expect a great finish to what had been a very sunny day. However there was a terrific sunset and the sky turned the most amazing colour afterwards. Just as we were coming back I took this photo.
