Scene of trolley crash in Edinburgh
A shopping trolley left a track at 10.00 am this morning in the west of Edinburgh, overturning 50 metres of railing before rolling down an embankment. Three Swedes on a visit to Edinburgh were injured and a party of orange carrots and green beans from Belfast on a Christmas visit to celebrate five years of peas were badly shaken. A spokesman from Morrisons who run the service say they understand the trolley was being joyridden at excessive speed by a grandmother from Wester Hailes known to ignore signs warning of the dangers of this game for over 80s. Firemen at the site dealt with small detonations caused by a milk spilling over burst boxes of Rice Krispies.
