Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels

I am serving jury duty in downtown Los Angeles and one of the best places to grab a sandwich is actually at the Cathedral's cafeteria! I'm not really religious, but I'm religious about food!

The Cathedral is not typical - but was built on the site of a classic old church that was severely damaged in various earthquakes and then condemned in 1995 after the Northridge quake in 1994.

The new cathedral opened in 2002.
