Hi all,

how many people does it take to change some lightbulbs?

depends who you ask.

tried to change some bulbs today, what a nightmare, the light bulbs I have in my kitchen lights needed changing, but they are flush with the glass shade, so unless you have the right sucker cup to take them out , you have to unscrew each individual shade to get them out.

I know there is a little sucker cup that takes the bulbs out really easily but do you think i could get hold of one - oh no.

went into that store i like again, to get one,

Do they have one in the lighting department they can sell me? no
Do they have one in the lighting department they can give me as they must use them? they use them - but no
Does the bargain corner have a spare one i could have? no, the young lad has no idea what i'm talking about either
Do customer services, have one or know where i can get one? no
Do they know how i can make a complaint? yes, the little e-mail machine thingy.(send e-mail) but not happy that I will be leaving the store without having one.
Can i speak to the manager? No
can i speak to a deputy? yes

I explain the rigmaroll to him, he says "can he get back to me in a week?" i say yes but that really doesn't solve my problem today does it? "Leave it with me i'll be back shortly" he says. takes my mobile number

so i wait around looking at kitchen gadgets (you know they really do have some useful stuff,- melon ballers, rind strippers, garlic crushers etc)

He rings me, about 5 minutes later and asks where i am, turns up about 20 seconds later gives me a little black sucker cup thing.

Does he want me to return it? no
does he want me to pay for it? no
can I keep it? yes but dont loose it.

Are they going to stock them in the future? he didn't say.

Could this have been easier? yes, (dont go to the monkey, go to the organ grinder)

So todays blip is a snowflake ( a little snowflake in a great big blizzard) which is what i feel like today

Tomorrow i might blip the sucker ( or was that me)

On a lighter note, Orange customer services excellent, - new phone for daughter coming tomorrow!
