friends

Friends are wonderful people,
who perk you up when things aren't great,
or sit and chat at garden gates.

friends are there for longer than glance
listen to your woes and make you smile
and be there for more than a while.

Here is one of my longest friends
we have known each other nearly 20 years
she has seen me cry, blood, sweat and tears.
