Thursday: Methodist Central Hall

You guessed it - back on ye olde nightshifts.....my actual plan was to go out and take some pictures of Westminster Abbey only to discover that the building is hardly lit up at night at all.  I know it is probably environmentally friendly not to have excessive lighting, but it does make for a nice effect though when you do have it.

Anyway, I thought that the lighting on Methodist Central Hall would do - this is actually a Methodist Church but also serves as a conference and exhibition centre.

While I was out, a Polish chap, with not one word of English came over and showed me a map.  With various gestures, he gave me to understand that he was looking for Victoria.  With my wide range of gestures, I pointed him in the right direction.  With his ever increasing range of gestures, he told me that I was wrong and that I didn't know London at all.  I gestured back that yes, I did, and I was most certainly pointing him in the right direction.  He was last seen wandering off, in the right direction, so I feel like I had the last gesture.

Off to catch up on sleep - night night.
