Russian Soldier Boy

Today Felix got his first season pass for Whistler. Not bad for three months.

So you might be thinking 'Why? Felix can't ski'. Well, we were able to get a parent pass, which allows Simon and I to share the same pass, going on the basis that only one of us can snowboard at a time as the other will be looking after Felix. You get a tot pass as part of the parent pass. It's a great system and saves us lots of $$$. I'm off on maternity leave and Simon no longer works for WB so it's the first year we've had to pay for our passes. The saving is very timely.

It's really sweet that Felix has a pass but a total bummer that the photo is so rubbish. There was a huge queue so when the assistant said the photo was cute, we did't ask to see it. Hmm, I wish we had asked to see the photo as Felix looks like a grumpy russian soldier. To be fair, we did wake him up so he is half asleep.

Ah well, there's always next year.
