Standing water

Can be a rare thing here, so I risked life and limb by the side of the road to get this on the way to work this morning. I still can't find a place to park safely and get the lambs under the trees in that lovely morning light. This is a pollarded almond tree, soaking all that lovely water up to give us a show of blossom in Spring.

Good job I stopped too. It was raining and dark on my way back. We had a training session after school. It was a stress relief session, and I must say we had a good laugh and got to say nice things to each other, which can't be bad.

I'm waiting to get the boys back for the evening and see if they are going to eat any more. They seem to soak it all up....
