Errrg.

Trust me when I say that you don't want to see what's underneath the scarf. It's not a pretty sight.

A ma-hoooosive thank you to everyone who stopped by my 500th blip yesterday. It really does warm the cockles of a cynical heart to log onto blip this morning and see that over 130 people wished me well and said lovely things. And to see that one lovely blipper was kind enough to stalk a handsome young man for me. Thank you jkj10 :-)

On the whole, yesterday was a good day:
- I discovered Bollinger for the first time. It's really rather nice and we had 2 bottles of it.
- It finally dawned on me that it's better to be loved by a few than liked by many.
- There was cake with sparkly stars and a whopping sparkler.
- I found that my resistance to being hugged seems to be diminishing with age
- There was a surprise pudding (with another sparkler) from the lovely people in The Living Room
- Rather fab presents
- I spent time with some of my favourite people
- There was fish and chips

So, thank you to everyone who in some way, shape or form helped to make yesterday special.

I should also thank:
- the driver of a white van who shouted "tits!" loudly at myself and Kay as he drove past. Nice.
- the couple of people who chose yesterday as the day to unsubscribe from my journal. Cheers.

Oh and on a techy note, can I just add that taking this blip wasn't easy - you try sticking a scarf on your head and then trying to:
a) find the camera
b) locate the shutter release without knocking the camera off the shelf it was sat on
c) position oneself in front of the lens

I think I might go and put that scarf back on again now.....
