Here (may) be fairies!

First of all an apology. I began to post this and then my wi-fi went odd so I had to give up. Therefore, this is yet another back blip.

Normal weather service resumed today with grey skies and low light levels. As some of you who follow this journal may know, I have a 1 year old Goddaughter. She lives just around the corner from me but, with one thing and another, we always end up postponing visits. Today we finally made it!!

I met her and her mum at the play area and had a good time exploring the swings and other equipment. Of course I got sidetracked by this fungus. I think the shot I have used is really atmospheric - it wasn't really THAT dark!!

After a while we came back to my house. It's the first time that she has spent any time at mine and was clearly enthralled by all of the new things to see, including the pumpkin!!

She's not quite walking yet. Heaven help me when she is mobile!!!
