November? Really?????

After over a week of dismal grey days and low light levels, today was sunny!!!! This morning I played the organ at our Remembrance Day service - quite nerve wracking actually. Then, despite having lots I should be doing at home, I decided to head back to Minsmere for my 3rd visit in a week!!

It is still unseasonably mild. The bramble bushes clearly think so too. Lots of bird activity including the arrival of several skeins of geese. The light was beautiful and golden and the sunset was good to see after such a long absence.

Sadly didn't get to see any Waxwings but the Bewicks are arriving in increasing numbers. The highlight by far though was the Starling murmuration. Simply amazing.
