Reading material

This is my current reading material. As the title suggests, it contains stories of the lives of twelve wonderful women including Florence Nightingale, Elizabeth Fry and Charlotte Maria Tucker.

Not only is it a fascinating read, but it's also a bit of an heirloom; it was my Great-Grandmother's reading material of choice in 1936.

I think this is my favourite thing about good literature; the same book can cut across all of society's huge divides like religion, age, class and still inspire people born a lifetime apart.

So now I think all that's left to do is to curl up with this really good book.
